The Officer Service Cap Device is worn on the front of the Service Cap with the Army Service Uniform (ASU) by Officers in place of the beret. This brass insignia uses the same eagle as the U.S. Army insignia with the Great Seal of Texas replacing the Great Seal of the United States. The device is mounted on a screw post with a spur to keep the insignia vertical and prevent while worn.
