Fitted unlined wool beret with leather sweatband. Meets U.S. Army requirements for Service Uniform head gear. The beret is worn level across the head with the flash above the left eye and sloping to the right.
The beret does include an organizational flash, but it can be added for additional cost.
Sizing for the beret is the same as the Combat Uniform Patrol Cap. To determine size, measure the circumference of the head 1/2" above the ears and 1" above the eye brow, then divide that number by 3.14 and round up to the nearest 1/8".
In accordance with the DA-PAM 670-1 Chapter 11, the Beret is the standard headgear worn with the ASU.
